So as far as movies go, we’re big fans of taking trips to the theater in hopes of catching the next big blockbuster. For some people out there, it’s all about the action packed films…for others, it’s the drama. We prefer a heavy hand when it comes to action and just dash of drama to keep it real. Back in 1990, Total Recall was introduced starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the concept was taken from the short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” written by Philip K. Dick. Being fans of the original Total Recall, we took it upon ourselves to give the remake a shot. There a lot of tough critics out there when it comes to remakes doing an original it’s justice. Coming in with a splat on Rotten Tomatoes didn’t seem fair. To us, this movie deserves more. From start to finish, the movie was jam packed with non-stop action and kept you on the edge of your seat throughout while still managing to make you think. For those who haven’t seen it yet…if you liked the original, you should like this one. If you haven’t seen the original, you should definitely like this one. If you haven’t heard of Total Recall, well…now you have. Like anything else in life, when new technology and ideas are introduced, things evolve. If you’re looking to see the same exact Total Recall you saw back in 1990, you may be biting off more than you can chew, but; we’re willing to bet you’ll still think it tastes good.
Here are a few shots comparing the old with the new…

…and Kate Beckinsale for the now…
This time around…our good girl was Jessica Biel
All in all, the movie gets an “A” in our books and we think you’ll feel the same way. Like we mentioned before, if you’re into action, this is a sure bet.
