Last night, we had the pleasure of attending a Jimmy Eat World concert at the Wellmont Theatre. Not only was it an Epic performance by Jimmy Eat World, BUT it was the 10th anniversary for their “Bleed American” album which they played in its entirety AND it was opened by Civil Twilight…whoa!
I was stoked when I found out Civil Twilight was opening the show for Jimmy Eat World. You may know them, or atleast heard one of their popular hits, “Letters from the Sky” which has been aired on various rock radio stations throughout the world. This rock band coming from South Africa consisting of 2 brothers and a drummer pack quite the punch for a smaller setup.
That was awesome. Now it’s time for Jimmy to Eat the World. Not to mention i’ve been wanting to see these guys for years now but just never had the chance to catch them at a smaller venue for scheduled reasons…so you can imagine how amped I was to catch them here, and be at the stage.
Oh yea, to all our followers who like Jimmy Eat World, this one’s for you…
That’s what we call a New Jersey Success Story.
